Tomorrow’s leaders to take part in 360° business strategy competition

According to Sir Winston Churchill, "However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results." A business strategy is a set of competitive moves and actions that business uses to attract customers, compete successfully, strengthening performance and achieve organisational goals. In order to best determine the future direction of a business, it is vital to explore the 360° angles of business strategy. Every business dreamer must know that a well outlined business strategy is essential for success and sustainability of any business.

Keeping these in mind, East West University Business Club (EWUBC) is organising a nationwide business strategy competition titled 'BriefCase 2019'. This is going to be an interuniversity 360° business strategy competition with the objective of introducing participants with every segment of business such as marketing, supply chain, management and finance.

BriefCase 2019 is powered by Ruchi, a popular brand introduced by Square Food and Beverage. They started their journey in 2000 as a member of Square Group.

The programme is apportioned into three rounds titled as 'Round 1: Online activation', 'Round 2: On-spot case' and 'Round 3: Grand finale- the business pitch", based on three different segments of business. The rounds will respectively be held on July 23 to 26,  July 29 and August 04, 2019. The participants will have to compete an online case, an advertisement making task, and a research-based case solving round after passing the online screening phase. On that day, the disclosure and achievement of the winners will be celebrated.

There was an event of press briefing on July 12 in the East West University premises. Silvia Akter, assistant professor of the university, shared details of the contest.  MA Mahmud, senior brand manager and Murtaza Nasir, brand executive--both from Square Food and Beverage were present in the press briefing.

The registration started from July 14, 2019, at the East West University premises. Participants can register online. Participants must register with a team of three members and the registration will end on July 18, 2019.

The club is also going to celebrate 20 years anniversary with a concert and on the same day the trophy unveiling event of the competition will be held.

EWUBC believes that this programme will give a platform to the students of all over the nation who anticipate for real life learnings about 360° business strategies.
