In Bangladesh, with the partnership of DataSense at iSocial, Fairwork has been publishing the Fairwork Report evaluating the working conditions of digital platforms and ranking these platforms based on the five principles of fair work since the last year.
This Fairwork project is based at the Oxford Internet Institute, Oxford University, and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, and it is currently operating in 30 countries across 5 continents.
This year, workers of nine platforms - Chaldal.com, Foodpanda, Hello Task, HungryNaki, Obhai, Pathao, Sheba XYZ, Truck Lagbe, and Uber - have been included in this study.
