The "1st National Symposium on Herbal Medicine: Quality Control and Validation" was held recently at the campus of State University of Bangladesh (SUB) in the city.
President of Bangladesh Science Academy and former VC of Jagannath University Prof. Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion, said a statement.
The keynote paper was presented by Dr. Peter Hylands, Director, Pharmaceutical Science Institute, Kings College, London, UK.
The symposium was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Sayeed Salam, Vice Chancellor, State University of Bangladesh (SUB) and a good number of teachers of Pharmacy Departments of different universities, researchers, representatives of pharmaceutical companies and pharmacists.
