Southeast University (SEU) has observed its 15th Anniversary at Tejgaon permanent campus in Dhaka city.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was present in the programme as the Chief Guest. He inaugurated the ceremony held on Wednesday.
Dr ANM Meshquat Uddin, Vice Chancellor of SEU, presided over the programme, according to a press release.
Md Rezaul Karim, Chairman, Board of Trustees of SEU, attended the anniversary programme as special guest.
Prof Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Dean of School of Science & Engineering, delivered the welcome speech, the release said.
Members of the Board of Trustees, adviser, treasurer, professor emeritus, registrar, deans of different schools, Chairmen of different departments, faculty members, students, media personalities and host of eminent persons were also present in the programme.
The faculty members and students of the university held a rally.
The ceremony came to an end with the musical performance by singers Ferdous Wahid and Habib Wahid.
