The University of Development Alternative (UODA) arranged a seminar on “Job Stress and Safety Working Conditions on Organisational Productivity” at its auditorium in Dhanmondi area of Dhaka recently.
Professor Dr. Ahmadullah Miah, Pro-Vice Chancellor inaugurated as chief guest. Registrar Professor Dr. Iffat Chowdhury, Proctor and Associate Professor Tapon Kumar Biswas, MBA Coordinator & Associate Professor Mostafa Kamal were present as special guest.
Assistant Professor of Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Abdullah-Hil Muntakim was keynote speaker in seminar, also moderated the technical session, said a press release.
Dr. Muntakim discussed the impact of job strain in workplace and the relationship between safety working conditions and organizational productivity in local and global context.
Manager of Four Points Sheraton, Mr. Shek Siddiqe was present as guest speaker.
Tanvir Ahmed and Sohili Jannat Kaya delivered welcome speech where Riad Hossian Ripon and Taslima Akther Dipa anchored the programme. Romena Afaz and Hasanul Habib Tushar delivered closing speech. Golam Ismot Mitul, Zesheen Heyder Akas and Jaheda Khatun also spoke among others.
Students, teachers of the university and corporate professionals were also present in the programme.
