Science enthusiasts will be able to observe outer space through telescope on Friday and Saturday evening at the National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) in the capital’s Agargaon.
The science museum authorities invited young generation to participate in the event as the sky over the city will remain clear next two days, according to an NMST press release.
Visitors will be able to observe the Moon of Earth, Venus, Saturn with its ring, Jupiter with its four satellites, and some other stars and nebula.
The space observation through telescope will begin after dusk at around 5:11 pm and will continue for around an hour.
Talking about the space watching activity, Director General of NMST Muhammad Munir Chowdhury said younger generation has been involved in different types of addiction as there is scarcity of leisure activities and entertainment.
The museum has created the scope of science based entertainment where people of all walks of life can take part in.
Besides, the visitors will also enjoy activities of movie bus and space observation bus at the NMST premises.
