The Premier Bank 5th International Education Expo 2019 has begun in the city in a bid to provide students with information about study abroad opportunities and programmes.
The two-day event, which began on Friday at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, received a good response from the visitors.
A large number of undergraduate and postgraduate students from different public and private universities came to the fair, one of the biggest education expos.
The fair aims to provide students with the latest information about admission and credit transfer in different overseas educational institutions.
A total of 34 participants from various consultancy firms are helping students with document assessment, spot admission, scholarship opportunity and other information to help them achieve their goals of studying abroad.
Foreign Admission & Career Development Consultants Association of Bangladesh or FACD-CAB organised the exposition with the support of the Premier Bank Limited.
BSB Global Network, Pinnacle Consultancy Group, Rico International, Apollo International Bangladesh, Executive Trade International and Contacts International, among others, took part in the fair.
Subash, who is an undergraduate student of Computer Science and Engineering Department (CSE) at Habibullah Bahar University College, told the FE that he got necessary information about studying abroad in different reputed universities.
“It's a great advantage for me as I'm able to get all kinds of information under one umbrella”, he said.
Anwaral Kabir, IT manager of Well Bangladesh Group told the FE that he was passing a busy time at the fair as so many students are getting necessary information from them.
Students are getting all kinds of information on studying abroad without any hassle, he said.
All the renowned organisations are giving their consultancy under one umbrella which is a great advantage for students, Kabir added.
