The North South University (NSU) has secured the top position among all private universities of Bangladesh in ‘QS World University Rankings - Asia 2022’.
The university organised a view exchange meeting with the media at its campus on Thursday to celebrate achievement, according to a press release.
‘QS World University Rankings - Asia 2022’ was officially unveiled on November 2. The NSU gained the top spot in the index as the private university in Bangladesh with a rank of 215.
The press statement said, “NSU looks forward to breaking inside of 200 soonest on our way to the top 100 in Asia.”
In addition, North South University has been ranked in the latest ‘QS Graduate Employability Ranking 2022’, officially unveiled on 23 September 2021. Consequently, the university was named as the only private university in Bangladesh to secure a spot in this list of Top 500 global institutions. It secured a rank of 301-500 on the list.
“NSU continues to solidify its position as the leader in higher education in Bangladesh. NSU continues to make significant strides towards their goal of being in The Top 1000 University in the World,” the university said in the press release.
NSU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Atiqul Islam, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr M. Ismail Hossain, teachers and officials were present at the meeting with the journalists from different media platforms.
