North South University (NSU) has ranked among the top 500 universities in the world in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022.
The rankings were officially unveiled on Thursday, according to an NSU press release.
The QS Graduate Employability Rankings do not specify the exact ranking for universities outside the top 100, so NSU was ranked 301-500.
“NSU continues to solidify its position as the leader in higher education in Bangladesh. North South University continues to make significant strides towards their goal of being among the top 100 universities in Asia and the top 1,000 in the World,” the press release added.
The top ranked university in the rankings was the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), followed by Stanford University in second, and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in third.
The top ranked Asian university in the rankings was Tsinghua University in Beijing at sixth overall. The University of Hong Kong was second in Asia and 10th overall, while the National University of Singapore (NUS) was third in Asia and 17th overall.
The top Indian university in the rankings was the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. They ranked 101-110.
