North South University Diversity Club (NSUDC) has organised an event on ‘International Day of Disabled Persons’ at its campus recently.
The day-long event comprised of an art competition and photo opt. with over 25 disabled participants, invited from a school namely ‘Amar Joti School in Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka’, according to a media statement.
The participants were students cater to children with both physical and mental limited ability and their needs, said the statement.
The judges for the competition were two of the ten working adults, all with physical limited ability, invited as the Special Guests to the event.
Md Shajahan, Chairman, Board of Trustees and Prof G U Ahsan, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Designate), NSU, handed over the award to the winners.
