ICAB gets membership from CAW

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB)  became the twelfth member of Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW), global professional accounting body.

ICAB is the seventh chartered accountancy body to be awarded membership to the organisation.

Welcoming ICAB as new member, CAW Chairman Pat Costello  said that ICAB has played a key role in developing the accountancy profession in Bangladesh over the last four decades, says a press release.

It also shares our ambition to work together and promote the very highest standards of the profession globally, Pat Costello added.

ICAB President Adeeb H Khan said, ICAB is delighted to become a member of CAW and to be part of this global family.

"We look forward to work with CAW to further increase the value and reputation of the Chartered Accountancy brand in Bangladesh and internationally," he added.
