A group of four students of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) have been awarded Erasmus+ scholarships to study a semester in Europe.
The students, selected from a pool of 350 applicants, are now studying at University of Maribor (UM) in Slovenia.
Erasmus+ scholarship is funded by the European Union (EU).
The courses in which these four students got enrolled at UM are in line with the IUB curriculums.
Ankur Datta and Samira Fairuz Ahmed, students of computer science and engineering, are being hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UM.
Fahim Ahmed Sarkar, a student of finance, is being hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business, whereas Jahanara Tariq, an English Literature student, is being hosted by the Faculty of Arts at UM.
