With an aim to update the coping capacity among youths in the light of the up-to-date educational system, Youth School for Social Entrepreneurs (YSSE) is going to launch an educational event in Bangladesh. 'Global Education Summit-2021' will bring some catchy essence to the new normal psychology of education, scheduled to be held on August 20 and 21.
This event primarily aims to develop the coping power of the young generation regarding running the education system. This will open a base for highlighting the motives and interests of youths, currently lagging behind in response to the education system.
In this pandemic, e-learning trauma is taking a big toll in terms of the adaptability of most learners as well as scholars. Regarding these, some special initiatives will be taken to encourage the apprentices. The event is an open opportunity for every student from any university in Bangladesh to get registered for free. A student can choose to join either as an event ambassador or as a regular participant. The event ambassadors must represent their institutions in the event.
The event will be accomplished with the presence of prominent intellectual personalities. The special guests are Atiur Rahman, the former governor of Bangladesh Bank, and Ashfaq Zaman, the founder of Leadership Excellence and Development.
Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, assistant professor of Stamford University, will be present as the keynote speaker. Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, dean and professor of the School of Business and Economics of North South University will be present as the session chair. Sadaf Taimur, research fellow of 'Japan Society for Promotion of Science,' will be the session speaker.
Mohammad Tareque Rahman, director of Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), Mohammod Moninoor Roshid, head of the Department of Language Education, Dhaka University and Asish Thakur, executive director, Global Pvt Limited will join the panel discussion. Mohammad Amaan Ullah, CEO of English Olympiad, will be the event advisor and session panelist.
The convener of the event, Md Rafiul Shah, said, "This is a timely event that is going to be held for the first time in Bangladesh. It will open a new door of possibilities for the education enthusiasts." Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf Hossain, the curator of 'Global Education Summit' echoed Rafiul's voice and convened all to participate to become part of the event.
Students have to fill up a registration form to join the event.
