East West University Business Club (EWUBC) has launched its flagship event, 'Career Clinic 2022' Powered by ShareTrip, on October 24, 2022, at East West University.
In recent years, graduates are facing difficulties in making a clear roadmap to their desired careers. One of the reasons behind this is insufficient knowledge about ever-changing industries and job preparation.
Academic knowledge is not enough these days as having skillsets, networking, and better preparation are also important.
Career Clinic 2022 is designed for the students to have a firsthand understanding of different industries of the country and build a prolific professional profile to excel in their careers after graduation.
The event allows the students to meet the market leaders and the most prominent companies of different sectors in the country to review their career profiles through CV screening and interviews to receive expert advice on improving their profiles.
EWUBC has collaborated with 20+ companies from 9 industries this year to organise Career Clinic 2022. The opportunity is inclusive for students from all departments of East West University.
The event is segmented into four different phases starting from October 24. The first two workshops of the event include a CV and Cover Letter writing workshop, held on October 24 and an Industry Overview workshop which will be held on October 26.
In each workshop, a keynote speaker from the country's leading companies will be present to help the students build industry-standard CVs and give an in-depth overview of different industries.
A Panel Discussion Round will be held on October 26, followed by the industry overview workshop featuring distinguished panellists and faculty members of East West University. During the CV Screening round, the
Head of HR and professionals from the country's leading companies will interview the participants, review their CVs, and provide them with feedback that will help them in the long run. Career Clinic 2022 will end with a closing ceremony on October 29, 2022.
