Dhaka University (DU) and Hyderabad University, India have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The agreement was signed by Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman and Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Smt Riva Ganguly Das in the presence of Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House, New Delhi on Saturday.
The main focus of this MoU is to develop academic and educational cooperation on the basis of equality and reciprocity and to promote relations and mutual understanding between the two universities, said a media release received today (Sunday).
Under the agreement, the main areas of collaborations are exchange of teachers, students and information, research and development collaboration and joint organization of national and international symposia, conferences of mutual interest.
This MoU is signed for a period of five years.
