Around 53 candidates will vie for one seat in the first year honours admission test of Comilla University (CoU) under the academic session of 2017-18.
The university authorities have sold 54,809 application forms for 1,040 seats under six faculties, said chief of the university admission test technical committee and ICT department chairman Dulal Chakraborty, reports UNB.
He said some 23,625 students have applied for 350 seats under 'A' unit (science and engineering faculties), 19,372 for 450 seats under 'B' unit (arts, social science and law faculties), 11,812 for 240 seats under 'C' unit (business studies).
As per schedule, 'C' unit admission test will be held on November 18, while `A' unit in the morning on November 17 and 'B' unit in the afternoon on the same day.
