To get BriefCase 2.0 running, the official registration began on June 18, 2020. More than 500 teams registered for this competition. Even so, every round offered enough thrill, suspense and fun all at the same time.
The organisers segmented the entire event into three parts. In the case solving round, more than 500 teams battled the hard battle and only 50 teams marched forward into the semi-final with their splendid triumph. A total of 42 judges from different leading industries of Bangladesh evaluated more than 500 teams in the semi final round. The semi final round had its intensity, and thrill where competitors had to run a Facebook campaign for five days on Daraz Bangladesh Limited. Each team had the same task. A total of 32 expert judges from different industries monitored each teams' campaign and chose the winners of this round according to their reach, creativity and the content they provided. It ended on July 05, 2020. Only 10 teams stepped into the grand finale of BriefCase 2.0. The finale took place on July 10. There were two expert judges namely, Nur Ibna Saeed, head of transport partnership and 3rd party logistics operation, Daraz Bangladesh Limited and Risalat Siddique from Analyzen.

Both the judges analysed the presentations and prepared a questionnaire for each team. During the question answer session, the moderators of East West University Business Club and both the judges were present. The final took place on Google Meet due to the coronavirus pandemic.
