Bangladesh University of Professionals Career Club (BUPCC) and Pathao Bangladesh Limited jointly organized a day-long job fair, titled BUP Career and Education Fest-2017 at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) at Mirpur Cantonment in Dhaka city on Wednesday.
The chief guest BUP Registrar Brig Gen Abul Kashem Md Ibrahim inaugurated the fest at 10:00 am in the presence of other BUP high officials, officers, faculty members, enthusiastic students and representatives from several companies.
The purpose of the fair is to give the students opportunity to learn about potential employers, available opportunities, and job-related information. Also, some companies delivered a short speech and told how their office environment is.
Sifat Hassan, Director (Human Resource and Culture) of Pathao Bangladesh Limited, also attended the job fair as the special guest and he conducted a workshop and share the common mistakes of job processing, and how to get rid of those.
Some renowned companies such as; Pathao, Daraz.com, IDLC, IDP, Beximco Pharma, Best Electronics, OPPO, Pine Solution, AISEC, BMSCL took part in the fest and collected resumes from the students and described the job details.
