BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) has organised an orientation programme for the newly admitted students of Spring Semester 2019 on its main campus in the capital.
The BUFT arranged the function, designed for B.Sc (Hons) in AMT, FDT, KMT, TE, TEM,IE, English, BBA and Bachelor Programmes, on Wednesday.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, also the founder member, Board of Trustees (BOT), of the university, was present at the event as the Chief Guest.
He gave special emphasis on developing new students as enlightened and capable people for the country, says a media release.
Muzaffar U. Siddique, Founder Chairman, Board of Trustees of the BUFT, chaired the function. He gave the flower bouquet and crest to the Chief Guest of the programme.
Others founder members of board of trustees- BUFT Md. Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, President, FBCCI and Md. SiddiqurRahman, President of BGMEA, spoke on the occasion.
Faculty members of Technical University Chemnitz (TUC) Germany, Students of Nyenrode Business University, Germany, Deans, Exam Controller, CFO, Head of Logistics, Project Director, Head PRO, all heads of the academic and administrative departments, faculty members, officials, and staff of BUFT were present at the function.
A total of 1480 fresher’s took part in the orientation programme.
