Along with the Sangsad Bangladesh Television, the state-run radio Bangladesh Betar is set to broadcast class lectures for the students at primary level to continue their studies as educational institutions remain closed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossen will inaugurate the virtual lessons titled “Ghore Bose Shikhi” on August 12, reports BSS citing an official release on Tuesday.
The classes will be broadcasted through Bangladesh Betar and 16 community radios simultaneously from Sunday to Thursday scheduled from 4.05pm to 4.45pm. The students can join the lectures through radios or mobile phones.
All educational institutions across the country have remained closed since March 17 in order to contain the spread of coronavirus. The government extended the closure for educational institutions till August 31.
