A total of 1,10,629 students attained the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5) in the SSC and equivalent examinations under 10 education boards across the country this year which was 1,04,761 last year.
Among the GPA-5 holders this year, 55,701 are male while 54,928 are female students.
A total of 1,02,845 students achieved GPA-5 under eight general education boards, while 3,371 students obtained the grade under madrasa education board and 4,413 under technical education board, according to a report by BSS.
