The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has collected Taka 3.11 billion on Tuesday, the fifth day of the weeklong income tax fair.
On the day, a total of 1,06,200 people submitted their income tax return and 2,90,830 people received different services, according to the data of NBR.
A total of Taka 16.59 billion was collected in five days so far, it said.
The fair was held in 64 locations including eight divisional cities and 56 district towns on Tuesday.
Besides, huge number of people of different ages visited the fair.
