IPDC Finance Limited has come forward to help the flood-affected people. The company with the cooperation of ex-cadets forum, an organisation of alumni and current students of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps organised different activities to ease the post flood situation for the flood victims.
The activities included donating food and groceries or setting up medical camp, building home in areas like Vaturia, Dokkhin Maijhail, Belkuchi in Sirajganj district, considering the long term sustainability of the relief for affected people, said a statement.
Regarding these activities, Head of Corporate Communication of IPDC Finance Limited Mahzabin Ferdous said, “This year, the devastation level of flood has created much grief for many people. It is indeed gratifying to see everyone coming forward for the victims however, we believe to ensure their livelihood once again. We are building shelter beside the regular contributions for the affected people. Considering the zealous effort of ex-Cadet forum towards the flood affected people overtime, we thought the best interests of the victims will be taken care off.”
