South Africa is aiming to finalise a long-term plan for the country’s energy sector next month.
Energy Minister Jeff Radebe on Wednesday also said it will launch another round of renewable energy deals after the plan, reports Reuters.
“We are aiming for February,” Radebe said, when asked when the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) would be completed.
“Straight away after that we will launch more renewable energy contracts,” he added.
