At least nine people have been killed and several others sustained injuries when a state-run passenger bus collided with an overloaded jeep coming at high speed on Nokha-Sujangarh Road in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, Police said Wednesday.
The accident occurring in late Tuesday, left six jeep passengers, including the driver of the jeep, dead on the spot and three others succumbed to injuries this morning at a hospital, a Police official said.
The driver of the jeep also died in the accident, he added.
A probe has been ordered into the incident, says a Xinhua news agency report.
