A 35-year-old man died after a major fire broke out at a garment factory in the Indian capital Delhi Saturday, officials said.
"The fire erupted at a jeans factory on Tank Road in central Delhi this morning. Five fire tenders have been pressed into service to douse the flames," a fire official said.
New agency Xinhua reported quoting the official that some victims trapped inside the factory have been evacuated by the firefighters.
A probe has been ordered into the incident, the official said.
The incident came after 17 people were killed in a massive fire at a fireworks factory in the national capital last month.
