Nineteen people have been killed and seven wounded after a cement-laden truck in which they were travelling overturned on Bhavnagar-Ahmedabad highway near Bavalyali village in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar in India.
The truck reportedly fell into a ditch after it overturned on Saturday (today).
The injured passengers were shifted to a government hospital in Bavayali village and the bodies of the deceased will be sent for an autopsy shortly, Hindustantimes reported citing ANI.
The driver fled the spot after the accident occurred.
