At least six people were killed and several others injured in a car crash on a highway in Myanmar's Yangon region on Tuesday, local media the Standard Time Daily reported Wednesday.
The accident took place in Mingalardon township on Tuesday at 07:45 am (local time) when a car travelling from Taukkyan to Hlegu on Yangon-Bago highway lost control due to over-speed and collided with a mini-passenger bus coming from the opposite direction.
The injured were brought to a nearby hospital, reports Xinhua.
Reckless driving was blamed for the accident.
