Water plays an important role in healthy living and we should every day drink enough water so that we do not suffer from dehydration. Often we feel lethargic, listless because our body craves for water, but we do not understand the sign and ignore it and prolong our suffering. We should drink water at regular intervals and during the summer we should be extra careful.
We should keep an eye on our children and make sure they are getting enough water and not playing in the outdoors during the noon time when the sun is very hot. During the winter time, we should also remain careful. As we do not feel thirsty during winter, we often suffer from dehydration without knowing. Our body needs water for proper functioning of its cells and organs. We should not count tea, coffee or carbohydrate drink as a substitute for water, but we can depend on drinks like coconut water and fresh juice to replenish our water shortage.
