UBER can play a vital role to improve taxi service of our city. When we need taxi we do not have to go to streets and call one. With Uber we can easily book and call a taxi from our mobile phone and for that we have to download Uber app, the communication service of our city. Uber-like digital service will be able to make a positive change in our communication. Now we can, with the help of Smartphone and app, order food and get home delivery with a minimum charge. Food apps are allowing us to enjoy a restaurant meal at home. Uber can prove to be a life saver as it is easy and convenient.
The government must understand it is not a taxi service company rather it is a digital tool to help passengers get a taxi using their Smartphone. I am excited over Uber being introduced in Dhaka. I hope the BRTA will facilitate the Uber service and will not create hindrance. It will surely prove to be a blessing for our city commuters. I hope the government will help Uber like service to function so that life in the city is easy and convenient.
