THE Tigers lost the 3rd and last ODI against New Zealand and lost the series by 3-0. Although the Tigers showed some resistance, they lacked consistency in both bowling and batting and their ground fielding left a lot to be desired.
In the 3rd ODI, Bangladesh started well with Tamim and Imrul with a century plus opening stand, but rest of the batsmen failed to capitalise on it. But thanks to Nurul Islam's late resistance, the Tigers managed to put a decent total against the hosts. Mustafizur's comeback was positive as he took two wickets giving away only 27 runs in 9.2 overs.
Now the Tigers will play two tests and three T20 matches. Playing in the conditions of Australia and New Zealand is not easy because the pitches are bouncy and fast. The Bangladesh cricket board needs to prepare some fast and bouncy pitches to acclimatise our boys with those wickets.
