The Bangladesh Cricket Team will visit New Zealand to play three ODIs, three T20 Internationals and two Tests. The Tigers are now in a conditioning camp in Australia for their upcoming tour and their international fixture opens with an ODI on December 26, 2016 at Hagley Oval, Christchurch. The tour of New Zealand will be a big test for the Tigers. In recent past, big teams have struggled in New Zealand and it is not going to be easy for Bangladesh. The Tigers are having a conditioning camp for the ten days so that they can adjust with New Zealand weather. In the last two years, the Tigers played well in the home conditions and we hope they will get confidence from the past. Cricket has become a passion for our people and a loss or a win matters a lot for us. The young generation looks up to players like Tamim, Shakib, Mashrafee, Miraj and Mustafizur and the budding talents want to emulate their feats both at home and abroad. The whole cricket world is eager to see how the Tigers fare in New Zealand conditions. We wish good luck to Mashrafe and Co.
