THE Mouchak flyover, has not been completed as yet although work of the project started in 2013. As a result, the sufferings of the pedestrians using the road know no bounds. Since the inauguration of the of project's work, people have been facing several problems. Severe traffic jam is one of them. It used to take 30 minutes at the most to go to Kakrail from Rampura, now it takes more than an hour and a half in normal circumstances which stretches to 2-3 hours during traffic jams. Another major problem is that the project is damaging the environment of the area by producing huge quantity of filth and smoke. As a result of all these, people travelling in the area are getting exposed to severe health risks.
Since the launching of the project, roads were damaged and at present there are innumerable potholes on the broken road causing obstacles for vehicle movement and as an inevitable consequence of that frequent accidents are taking place. We do not know when the problems will be over and we shall be able to use the road with comfort and ease.
