TODAY'S women are playing important roles everywhere in the world. They are no longer confined within the four walls. They have come out of the kitchen and joined men in all spheres of life. They are becoming pilots, doctors, engineers, teachers, soldiers and many more on receiving higher education.
If we look at our country, women are already occupying important positions. Our Prime Minister, parliament Speaker, leader of opposition in parliament and leader of the main opposition political party are all women. Besides, many important positions in the government and multinational corporations are being occupied by women. Women have also have stamped their superiority in games and sports. Recently, we saw brilliant performance of our under-16 women football team. In this way, they are performing creditably in all spheres of our national life and contributing to the economy of the country. Now, everybody has come to realize that true development of the country is never possible by keeping half of the population at home.
We only hope that women of the country will continue to prove their worth and make priceless contribution to the development of society.
