The 34th BCS final result was published on August 29, 2015 whereas the circular was published on February 7, 2013 and now it has been more than seven months and the gazette is still pending.
It has been around four years but the recruitment is yet to be done which has already made this batch the lengthiest ever in the history of BCS.
Meanwhile, after the publication of the gazette many of the 2159 qualified candidates have already resigned from their jobs and waiting for the gazette notification.
By this time, the 35th BCS viva has already started and the written exam for the 36th batch is about to be started.
But many of the 34th batch recommended cadres did not even sit for either exam as they thought it might take them only a few months to have their gazette like other batches. However some candidates are considering to appear.
If they appear at the viva it might earn them a cadre at the cost of other potential BCS candidates' cadre and it would also be counterproductive for the nation.
Many have become frustrated due to this procrastination.
Considering the ordeals of these 2,159 recommended cadre candidates and their families all the concerned government authorities should take it into their active consideration and work in coordination with one another to complete the recruitment process as soon as possible.
It will help ease the prolonged sufferings of hundreds of candidates and their families.
