Mobile library \"Dipshika\": A flame to spread light of knowledge

A local daily carried an interesting article on the introduction of mobile libraries at the doorsteps of the rural people at Naogoan. The voluntary organization "Dipshika" has launched this praiseworthy initiative. It will surely encourage people to read and be enlightened. They will be able to read books free and without much effort. They can collect books and help them increase their knowledge and expand the horizon of their minds. It will also help them understand their rights and responsibilities towards the country and society and help build a better Bangladesh. I hope this initiative should be replicated by other socio-cultural organizations of the country. If at least a quarter of our villages can have such a facility light of education will automatically spread across the country and make people knowledgeable. A noble effort like that of Dipshikha will work as a lighthouse in an ocean of vices. The media should highlight such positive steps and publish similar encouraging and enlightening items. This will, to say the least, help society march ahead towards a better and a brighter society. The UNO of the concerned upazila AKM Tajkir Uz Zaman should be congratulated upon for patronizing such a noble effort.
