'PAYLESS' is a shoe-selling shop and there are many outlets in New York city. On the Steinway between 30 Av and Broadway, there are two big outlets, only about 100 metres apart. These shops have put up varieties of shoes 'on sale: about 30 per cent discount on purchases valid until end May'.Â
I have recently bought a pair of Bata shoes from Dhaka and use the same in New York. I entered one of the stores to find a Payless shoe (I bought two pairs of shoes under buy-one get-one-free facility from Payless during 2008) and looked for my size and price after discount. There were other buyers moving around.Â
I told the attendant, "Look at my Bangladesh BATA shoes (a renowned shoe brand). Isn't it better than your shoes and do you know what is its price? It is only US $8.0 and if I buy one from your store, it is not Payless but Paymore!"Â
One young pair was happy to learn about it and joyfully said, "Don't buy from here. Buy it in your country. After all, prices do matter in all purchases."Â
Only chicken and at times apples on sales are Paysame (Bangladesh and the USA) and others are all 'Paymore' and you will not find 'Paysame' in NY or in the Western world, then why spend Bangladesh money there to buy with 'Paymore'.
It is Bangladesh where it is 'Paytooless' as compared to 'Paymoremore' of the western and many eastern countries.Â
So, enjoy living in 'Payless Bangladesh' than living in the UK, Australia, Canada, the USA and similar places. After all, it is the cost of living which matters when you are not earning or looked after by the state.Â
Above all, you are the king at your native home while you are like the helper, cleaning, cooking, washing, garbage managing and what not at your home.
