Society is the place where we belong. It is our duty to make our society liveable. There are lots of problems in our society which hinders our normal life and make it problematic. Some are obvious while some of them remain hidden.
In our society people, particularly the young generation, is under stress. They are lonely and so they become frustrated. They do not have what they want. They are clueless and do not have any sense of direction. They have forgotten to learn their manners and show respect for others particularly the superiors. Our society is becoming devoid of inner values and particularly sympathy and fellow feeling. The gap between every two persons is widening and so is interpersonal distance among people. The younger people have a lot of friends but no one to be trusted upon. Good friends are important in life and make life meaningful.
If we look for the reasons behind drug addiction, we shall find in most cases loneliness and frustration are the cause. In a way, things are heading for a personalized and self-centred society.
It is our responsibility to save the nation and create a better environment. Our duty is to create widespread awareness about honesty, integrity and fellow-feeling. We need to love others if we love ourselves. Society should be integrated and made into a coherent assembly of people. Since our future lies in younger hands, we must create a sense of togetherness and nurture a society of love and care for others. We seem to be in the other way.       Â
