IT was Bangladesh's hundredth test match and the historic moment set a milestone in our cricketing history. The Tigers sealed first Test win against Sri Lanka and it was sweeter as they beat the Lankans on their own soil. It is not easy to beat a team like Sri Lanka as teams like India and Pakistan failed to do so. Tigers drew the series 1-1 with this victory. Tamim Iqbal guided the way with his sparkling 82 runs in the second innings when victory looked uncertain. Shabbir provided able support, but it was Mushfiq who, along with Shakib and Miraz, gave the finishing touch. It was a glorious victory for Bangladesh and the whole country was beside with joy. The magical spells of Mustafizur and Shakib were instrumental in clinching the victory. Shakib's century in the first innings gave Bangladesh a good lead in the first innings that proved vital for the Tigers' win. Â It was a total team effort. Well done Tigers!
