THE global environmental crisis is considered to be a global threat for the world community as we are facing the severe consequences of environment pollution at present. Because of higher level of environmental degradation, the temperature near the North Pole is at a hitherto unknown 20 degree celsius warmer than the present average temperature. At least five islands have disappeared in the Pacific Solomon Island due to rising sea levels and coastal erosion. And more than 300 wild mammal species in the world are on the verge of extinction that will surely cause a serious damage to our biodiversity. These consequences will be a massive threat for us as well as our future generation. We need a collective response by marshalling our resources for international cooperation among the states of the world and harness quicker solutions of the environmental problems. Effective regulatory laws must be framed to reduce pollution. And the world leaders should come forward to solve the environmental problems ensuring a better, stable and prosperous life for mankind.
