NZ tour: Patches of brilliance

THE Tigers lost all their matches against New Zealand. It was a clean sweep for the Kiwis. But there were patches of brilliance for the Tigers as well. For example, Bangladesh played well in the first innings, but they lost their rhythm in the second. The batsmen appeared to have been in a hurry as they were beaten on the basis of their second innings performance in successive matches.  They appeared to have lacked patience in the second innings. Surely the condition in New Zealand was very tough for Bangladesh players but they need to be up to any condition if they want to be a world power in cricket.
Bangladesh showed their brilliance in patches, but it did not help them to avoid a whitewash. The batsmen were not found suitable to play on fast and bouncy pitches like New Zealand. Bangladesh cricket board should look at this aspect and introduce bouncy pitches in Bangladesh so that we can see good fast bowlers and batsmen coming up. It was a testing tour for Bangladesh and the Tigers' next mission will be one Test in India and it will be interesting to see how they perform there.
