No price hike and crisis of water, power

The holy month of Ramadan is only a month away and during the holy month the government should make sure that the Dhaka city dwellers do not face load-shedding and water crisis as load-shedding and water crisis make the long and hot summer more unbearable. We are now experiencing frequent load-shedding and persistent water crisis in Dhaka city. There always is an increased need for water and electricity during the summer.  Power outage particularly at the time of iftar, tarabi prayer and sehri is frustrating. During the holy month, the common people normally devote their time to fasting and rest after a long summer day.
I hope this year prices of essentials will remain stable and the common people are not fleeced by the unscrupulous traders. Let us hope that during the coming month of Ramadan, we shall enjoy stable market price of essential commodities, steady water and power supply.
