Examination system

LOOKS like the government has decided to discontinue Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination from the next year, i.e., 2017 and instead the first public examination is likely to be held after Class-VIII. I remember that I appeared in the fist public examination as a Class-II student and this examination was known as lower primary examination. I also appeared at Class-IV upper primary examination in the year 1947.
Every public exam gives students an opportunity for public exposure and thus there is no harm to continue with the JSC examination now in force. In view of the current situation, there is no harm to practise ethics and ethical examination in all spheres of school or madrasa life. Only zero tolerance in respect of maintaining sanctity in education system is not enough.
