Cycling: A great way to keep fit
CYCLING is one of the most popular forms of exercise around the world. Happily, cycling is becoming quite popular in our city as more and more people in Dhaka are becoming increasingly interested in cycling. Indeed, a greater number of people are seen these days pedalling across roads and lanes and stretch their bodies in the process. Cycling is environmentally friendly and extremely healthy and it costs almost nothing. Cycling is becoming more popular with our girls also. We see many city young girls using cycle as a mode of communication. Still the number of cycles in our city is much less compared to the other kinds of vehicles and compared to other civilized countries of the world. I think more and more people including the students and office goers should opt for cycling as a means of communication. It will be a healthy and eco-friendly mode of communication and will thus help reduce pollution in the city. Cycling is also very helpful for our mind as it de-stress us and makes us more attentive and increases our level of concentration. For the urban people, cycling provides an opportunity to have physical work outs which are very important for human health. We can increase our physical activities to enable us to have a healthy life, as lethargic lifestyle of a couch potato may only prove to be expensive in the long run. Active life is a healthy life.
