THE police department is responsible for maintaining law and order. It is expected that the police will ensure peace and happiness for the general mass. Nowadays, terrorism has spread throughout the country. In spite of efforts by the police, terrorism takes its tolls unabated. It is not possible to curb terrorism by the police alone. If common people cooperate with the police, terrorism can be eliminated.
It is to be noted that the police constitute the main frame of state administration, but members of the police are human beings like us. We also have our inherent drawbacks. Hence, it will be unjust to hold the police responsible for our failure to remove terrorism fully. It would be simply unfair to blame them only. Checking terrorism is not the responsibility of merely a singular branch of the government. It is the duty of everyone to co-operate with the police so that terrorism may be uprooted from the soil of this country. If we extend our helping hand and inform the police of the whereabouts of terrorists, terrorism can be removed to a great extent. Lastly, communication with the police from all walks of life is a must in order to eradicate terrorism.
