KILLING of Bangladeshis along Bangladesh-India border by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) is worrisome when there is an excellent bilateral relation between the two countries. Even many Indian human rights organisations are vocal against such killings by the BSF. I believe, if the government of India wants, it can stop such killings. The unarmed and simple villagers are the unfortunate victims of BSF action along the border. Bangladesh media as well as the international media regularly report of such incidents. These needless and pointless killings are just the opposite to the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation of India. Â Gandhi was always against violence, oppression and killing. I hope the Bangladesh government will take up this matter with due seriousness. India and Bangladesh should solve the problem of border killing. Sooner this is done, the better.
