Powered by its brutal caravan Covid-19, Corona is busy travelling from race to race, religion to religion, and country to country -- simultaneously and irrespectively. Socialisation, the vital nature of humans, has turned into sofalisation. In spite of having modern tools and technologies, genomics and genetics, the scientists, doctors, health professionals and the operators of super computer, the advanced countries are vulnerable to the horrific acts of Corona. Not only confined to the departments of virology and medicine, it is a key issue of concern for defence and administration also.
Now, let us see what Corona-Covid-19 has been doing since its inception in Wuhan. In its ferocity of actions, its listed first job is to confuse the people. It has been successful by casting its spell on a big number of people including the religious people of all religions who are thinking that it might be the sign of the Apocalypse, while some others are thinking that it might have been a man-made virus of igniting the fire of third world war. On the other hand, doctors and health professionals are confused considering it too strange a disease they have ever known about.
The second job of Corona's programme is to frighten the people as horrifically as a villain does in a horror movie. It has been super successful in doing this job by keeping people locked down all over the world. The third and final job of is to strike home the stark reality among the people, organisations and countries about their recurrent antipathies and avarices; ignorance and insensibilities; misdeeds and malevolencies; vainglories and transgressions.
Was it not the ignorance and obliviousness of the etiological scientists and public health researchers themselves and, more importantly, the indulgence of policy makers for not taking any effective step for making vaccines by following-up the previous researches about the periodic advents of the virus in different times with different genes, shapes, and volumes? A research paper written by Stephen, Korsman and Preiser (2012), however, shows that the first advent of corona virus was found in 1931 while Tyrrell and Bynoe (1966) published a report in the famous science journal Lancet where they mentioned that the history of corona virus was noted in 1965 named B-814. Since then, researches on corona virus have been going on. Kahn, McIntosh, and Kenneth (2003) reported five more different corona viruses of different genes. Cheng et al. (2007) in a research paper warned that the corona virus (SARS-Cov) would reemerge and we should be ready to fight this virus. Then in 2010, researchers of Edinburg University did a research work on the affected patients of corona virus. Thus, following the statement of Cheng et al., we can say that, anyhow, the information of the advent of Covid-19, also known as SARS-Covid-2 was with us. But not being alarmed was our negligence that is now killing us. Demonstrably, we are not concentrating in our works; we have been obsessed with our hulking and humdrum lifestyles.
We even do not try to think that our world is four and half billion years old now, and, humans emerged here about two hundred years ago. From this long period, it took only about three thousand years to build the civilisation. However, the discriminations between person and person, group and group, organisation and organisation, and, country and country are still remarkably unjust. Among different super-structural reformations, the inception of different religions was good to reform the societies of the world. But the religious people do not try to think of the real beauty of religions. Ridiculously, they are flaunting the flags of their own religions.
The way Johns Hopkins University is giving updated data of the ghastly works of Covid-19 is dreadful. Including the paper of Tyrrel and Bynoe (1966) of Lancet, available research reports suggest that normally corona virus emerges in winter and leaves at the end of spring.
So, countries that are about to receive the summer may get released. But till that time Corona will be going on with its devastating caravan. Conceivably, we should consider this disaster for a change of the world and our civilisation for the better. Our duty is to record Corona as the lead player of this time and start working accordingly.
