INTERNET is not a luxury anymore in today's world. The number of internet users is increasing and most people use internet facility from their mobile phones. But due to the high price and limited validity periods, many people cannot use it properly. At present the validity period ranges from a day to 30 days. I believe when a customer buys an internet package he or she should have at least 90 days time to use it. The government is selling internet bandwidth at a lower price but the end users are not getting the benefits.
Profit is an integral part of business but the government should not allow internet service providers to enjoy exorbitant profit from internet users. If the validity periods of all internet packages are extended to at least 90 days, more people will be able to join the digital world. At present the mobile service providers sell different packages with validity of seven days, 15 days or a month, which are not enough. Mobile data remain unused but the validity of the package expires. If the service providers extend the validity to 90 days, use of internet will spread further.
