TECHNOLOGY is spreading fast around the world. In order to cope with the pace of modern technology, we need to keep ourselves regularly updated with the latest development of technology in the world. Besides, we should be mentally prepared to accept the technological changes. Almost all the offices and organizations are now technology-based. So, our young generation should focus more on this aspect. Our government has included in its plan to make the country digitalized. The present government from its beginning has been laying increased emphasis on the ICT (information and communication technology) sector for digitalization of the country.
Since our children are our future leaders, they will have to take the lead in this respect and to make them do so, the highest priority should be given for inclusion of ICT education in our curriculum. We need to ensure that our children get proper ICT education comparable to rest of the world. In view of drastic technological changes around the world, it is imperative that the sooner we give importance to ICT education, the better it is for our children. Our children are more technology-oriented which will help them learn and apply higher technological knowledge to foster economic growth in the country. Now-a-days, many schools have given priority to ICT education for the children by providing laptop, tab, etc. As such young children are now more enthusiastic to attend school and do not want to miss any classes. Besides the government, many NGOs like BRAC and Save the Children are working to digitize the school environment. BRAC with government assistance is working to digitize the schools located in slums.
"Getting tech-based education at every corner of the country is a high priority of the government. Digital content contains lessons for all of us; it makes us all into teachers and we all become students," said the Prime Minister. This is the right time for us to work together and make our country digitized quickly.
