A Bangladeshi movie titled "Doob: No bed of roses", directed by renowned Bangladeshi director Mustafa Sarwar Faruqi has generated a lot of enthusiasm and appreciation in our cultural arena as it will be starred by the Indian actor Irfan Khan. Many people perceive that the movie is based on a famous novel by celebrated Bangladeshi author Humayun Ahmed although the director has categorically denied it. We rarely come across a Bangladeshi movie creating so much interest even before hitting the silver screen.
Irfan Khan is an accomplished actor who worked for both Bollywood and Hollywood movies. I am a great fan of Irfan Khan and I had the opportunity to watch many of his movies. Film critics consider him as one of the finest actors in contemporary Indian cinema. He won Indian national film award in 2012 for his outstanding performance in Pan Singh Tomar. The Bangladeshi director Farooqi is also considered a leading movie maker of Bangladesh and he has already made his mark in the international arena. The movie lovers are eagerly looking forward to seeing the movie "Doob: No bed of roses". I am sure the movie will be commercially successful and make a mark in Bangladesh film industry. Bangladeshi movie industry is graduating after passing through a torrid time. I am sure Bangladesh cinema has a bright future ahead.
